Some analysts said that the BDO's force majeure may lead to the delay of the delivery date of the downstream PBT plant in the future, because the plant is the main supplier of some mainstream PBT manufacturers in Germany.
In addition, Russia's "cut-off" of European natural gas further boosted the price of natural gas in Europe. The prices of natural gas and electricity both rose by more than 20%, both reaching a record high. In this context, the production and supply of PVC and PE in Europe are limited!
