In order to further study and implement the national standard GB 23350-2021 Requirements for Limiting Excessive Packaging of Commodities - Food and Cosmetics newly issued by the State Administration of Market Supervision. On September 2, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau held a training meeting on the promotion and implementation of the standard "Food and Cosmetics Requirements for Restricting Over packaging of Commodities". The new standard is a revision of the 2009 standard, which stipulates the requirements for packaging porosity, packaging layers and packaging costs, as well as the corresponding calculation, detection and determination methods, which is conducive to guiding green production and consumption and achieving effective supervision. The conference provided more than 170 food and cosmetics production and distribution enterprises and standardization staff in the city with the video of "Tencent Conference", systematically interpreted the main contents of the standard revision, timely and effectively implemented the newly revised standards into specific work, strengthened supervision and law enforcement, solved the problem of excessive packaging of food and cosmetics, urged food and cosmetics manufacturers to disclose relevant standards, and designed product packaging in compliance, Advocate reasonable consumption. After the meeting, the Standardization Section of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau took the lead in establishing a WeChat group for standard interpretation of requirements for limiting excessive packaging of goods, further answering questions and solving doubts for production enterprises, and helping enterprises solve some practical problems in commodity packaging. This publicity and implementation is of great significance for further promoting the implementation of the mandatory national standard "Food and Cosmetics Requirements for Restricting Excessive Packaging of Commodities", protecting and improving the ecological environment, preventing and controlling environmental pollution by solid waste, promoting the implementation of the dual carbon goals, promoting the construction of ecological civilization, and promoting sustainable economic and social development.
