The maximum penalty is 100000! New regulations on excessive packaging of cosmetics
Violation of laws shall be fined up to 100000 yuan
Article 105 stipulates: "If a producer or business operator violates the provisions of this Law and fails to comply with the mandatory standards for restricting excessive packaging of commodities, the market supervision and administration department or the relevant department of the local people's government at or above the county level shall order it to make corrections; if it refuses to make corrections, it shall be fined not less than 2000 yuan but not more than 20000 yuan; if the circumstances are serious, it shall be fined not less than 20000 yuan but not more than 100000 yuan.".
How to avoid over packaging?
1. Requirements for the number of packaging layers: cosmetics packaging should not exceed four layers
2. Requirements for package porosity: calculated according to net content
3. Packaging cost requirements: no more than 20% of the sales price
