All biodegradable plastics may be an important means of sustainable development, and the application standard is still in the discussion stage. Considering the large-scale application varieties of biodegradable plastics, they have not been fully proved to be degradable in a short time, and their biodegradability in the marine environment needs to be further evaluated. We believe that all biodegradable plastics will still or become an important means of sustainable development of plastics in the future, but at present, the application scenarios, degradation means and evaluation standards are still in the research stage, and the industry is expected to develop orderly under policy supervision.
