China will speed up the construction of waste material recycling system

The national development and Reform Commission and other departments recently issued guidance on accelerating the construction of waste material recycling system, proposing that by 2025, China's waste material recycling policy system will be further improved and the level of resource recycling will be further improved.

According to the opinions, by 2025, the waste material recycling network system will be basically established, and more than 1000 green sorting centers will be built. The "scattered pollution" situation of renewable resources processing and utilization industry has significantly improved, and the level of agglomeration, scale, standardization and informatization has been greatly improved. The recycling capacity of nine main renewable resources, including waste steel, waste copper, waste aluminum, waste lead, waste zinc, waste paper, waste plastic, waste rubber and waste glass, has reached 450 million tons. The circulation order and trading behavior of second-hand goods were more standardized, and the trading scale was significantly increased. About 60 large and medium-sized cities took the lead in building a basically perfect recycling system for waste materials.
