At the CES exhibition held in Las Vegas, consumer electronics company Samsung stated that in 2022, recycled plastics accounted for 14% of the total plastic used by the company, marking the company's use of more sustainable materials.
"We first used recycled materials in some of our favorite products, such as the recycled fishing nets in the Galaxy series," said Inhee Chung, Vice President for Enterprise Sustainability at the exhibition
Samsung's booth walls are made of recycled ABS and recycled polypropylene.
Samsung has set a goal that by 2030, half of its plastic will come from recycled materials.
