COSMAX said on the 2nd that it is currently participating in the environmental protection utilization project of empty cosmetic bottles. It has not only developed cosmetic containers into environmental protection materials, but also developed environmental protection treatment plans for the remaining containers.

COSMAX said that it provided waste resources of empty bottles generated during the production of cosmetics to the Seoul New Living Plaza operated by the Seoul Design Consortium.

The waste resources provided by COSMAX were built into the symbolic shape "Beauty and Liberty" with the theme of "Beautiful Zero Waste" of the 2022 Seoul New Utilization Week, and were reborn. Last month, the sculpture was unveiled for the first time at the unveiling ceremony of the New Living Plaza in Seoul, East District of Seoul.

The modeling objects made by garbage artist Fri (sound) are themed with "obtaining new beauty through reuse".

Since September this year, ordinary citizens have also visited Seoul's New Living Plaza to experience making decorations from waste resources provided by COSMAX. COSMAX staff also participated in this activity to review the significance of resource recycling.

COSMAX plans to continue to provide waste resources to Seoul's newly used square, and develop a variety of resource recycling programs.

According to statistics, in 2021, the waste water discharge of COSMAX plant will be reduced by 23.8% compared with the previous year, and the waste discharge will be reduced by 12%. The footprint of environmental protection will be firm step by step.
