The Spanish government approved the Decree HFP/1314/2022, which clarifies the content and information required for the registration, recording and reporting of non reusable plastic packaging taxes. Spanish plastic tax will take effect from January 1, 2023, involving manufacturers, importers and intra community purchases. The starting point is 5 kg of non renewable plastic packaging per month, and the tax is 0.45 euros per kg
