The harmonious coexistence of man and nature is one of the five characteristics of Chinese path to modernization. The garbage classification work involves a wide range of contents and requires intensive cultivation. The waste plastic soft bags involved in this pilot project refer to the waste such as the air column bag of the express buffer bag, the washing liquid packaging bag, the plastic tray of the dumplings, and the fast food box, which are generally considered as low-value recyclables. According to statistics, the overall recycling rate of plastic products in China is less than 31%, and the recycling rate of low-value plastics is very small. With the rapid development of packaging, express delivery and other industries, the output of these plastic wastes is increasing day by day. 425kg of low value plastics, cardboard, foam and other low value plastics have been collected from the classified recycling point of No. 25 Community, Tongjing North Road, a single pilot street within one month. Among them, low value plastics such as films and other plastics account for nearly a quarter. If they are not effectively disposed of, environmental pollution and resource waste will result. The pilot implementation of recycling and recycling of plastic waste is an intensive promotion of waste classification and further improves the waste recycling system.
The waste classification work involves a long chain, and the pilot needs the joint efforts of all parties. As a new recycling category, the solution to the terminal outlet is the key. From the designated garbage classification supervisor to the transfer vehicle, the treatment terminal should be in place. When the residents throw garbage, the supervisor can accurately sort out the low-value recyclable materials. After reaching a certain amount, the transfer vehicle will be collected and transported regularly, and the terminal treatment unit will recycle, truly forming a recycling closed-loop.
